This is a title that makes sense. Make sure it works retroactive for quests already completed by existing characters tho.

this would be much better than those pay-to-have booze/etc. titles. You actually have to do something for this one.

/signed since i have 90% of the quests completed.
but I have one question. Don't you think this title should only be given to players who complete quests as the story progress?
it would be rather easy if some grind up to legendary survivor, then come back and do all the quests?

As long as you've completed all of the quests, what does it matter if you did them while being level 5 or level 20? Because it's harder when being level 5?
Half of the quests are in level 20 areas anyway.

No. Why? Prophecies is the only campaign that it takes a while to become lvl 20 in. The others are pretty much immediate. And with the advent of heroes level becomes a moot point anyway as you immediately have at least a lvl 15 hero from the beginning of prophecies (as long as you went to Elona - which i'm pretty sure most players are doing these days) therefore not having to take the low lvl henchmen.
Besides, the quests that aren't primary have absolutely nothing to do with the storyline..how would you suggest they police that?
There would be absolutely no benifit in having a necessary progression other than making it frustrating. What happens if you miss one along the way, would it be like survivor where once missed you never have the opportunity to do it, therefore missing out completely? I really think completing the huge number of quests in each campaign would be difficult enough without the added worry of where the quest fits in chronologically.

Although I understand your point that this kind of title would prolly mean more than a lot of other existing titles that dont mean squad. I cant help but /notsign due to my eternal hatred of title grinding.

Nah, nah.
Order is irrelevant. What's important is to make them.
- Campaign-exclusive quests should NOT be counted, since not all characters can make them. That makes things easier, and solves problems about people leaving pre-Searing before making all quests.
- Travel quests should not be counted, since they are not 'optional', people must them to get to other campaigns, and they are just 3 per character.
- Repeatable quests should be counted once (like all primary and dungeon EotN quests and all missions ALREADY are)
- When two quest lines are mutually-exclusive, and one of the lines has more quests than the other, the last quests one of the shorter quest line will count as more than one quest to make them match.
Of course, players would have to repeat some repeatable quests that were not counted before, but that's not a problem.

I agree with everything you said except for the campaign exclusive quest thing...bit confused by that as surely all quests are campaign exclusive as they can only be done in that campaign and not any other?
Surely each continent would have its own questing title?

I don't want a quest title to tell me when I'm done questing. I want a quest log for completed quests to show me I've done everything I could have.

I meant native-exclusive.
For example, in Shing Jea, ALL but The Bog Beast of Bokku are native-exclusive.
If Prophecies, all up to Kryta: Journey end are exclusive to native characters.
Those won't count for the title, since it would be like giving points for Vanquishing pre-Searing areas: foreigners can't make them, even when they have their own 'exclusive ones'.
But all the rest, all the ones all characters can make regardless of the campaign they are from, would be counted.

One great reason, its a title that can not be farmed, and does not (necessarily) involve repetitious actions to complete. I'm all game to be a LB Rank 10, however, I got tired of the Junundra Farming after the second time. I have the game to PLAY, not repeat the same area a million times so I have a higher rank.

Having 3-4 titles for this would be horrendous. It would drastically cheapen GWAMM. All quests need to count for 1 title. It's not like you need to do them in HM.

With this title and a 'master of' for each region, it would be possible to get almost 30 titles WITHOUT grind at all.
I say... poll this thread!

Dunno if I've posted in this thread but I see no downside to this suggestion. it's one of the few titles if it were a title that would actually mean something. I mean, you have a title for how many drinks/sweets/party items you consume, you ahve a title for missions completed, areas vanquished, % of the map uncovered...why not for quests too? It makes sense.Makes more sense than the consumable titles anyway, just farm farm farm buy buy buy brag brag brag. This way it encourages people to actually play the game through instead of running to the key outposts and farming the rest of it.

some quests are actually pretty funny to do, but most people ignore them cause, well, they don't realy give you anything decent.
